Our cork is factory finished with a “normal” water based polyurethane. A ceramic based finish can be added at time of installation to increase the wear life of the factory finish.

A urethane finish is not necessarily “better” especially not with cork.

Is there anything that you are looking for specifically? The most appropriate finish for cork is something that is flexible. Polyurethane is more flexible than urethane. Water based polyurethane is more flexible than oil/solvent based.

A flexible water based polyurethane = factory finish. To “boost” the wear we offer Loba 2K Supra AT with ceramic nano bead infusion. This finish out performs Bona Traffic by 360% (Taber Abrasion Test).

The problem that I see, polyurethane finish floor gets a dents if I press it, urethane finish is not a fragile

Cork is supposed to “dimple”. The urethane is too rigid = cracking and splitting as it ages. We need a finish that moves the same way cork does. It’s like laying a sheet of plexiglass over a trampoline and asking the kids to go jump on it for while. The first few jumps will be fine but eventually the plexiglass will shatter.
