GET /wp-json/wc/store/v1/products?search=cork&per_page=10 returns the live catalog without credentials. Resolve categories at /products/categories and inspect a product at /products/{id}. Follow pagination. Store API prices are integer minor-unit strings: divide by 10 ** currency_minor_unit and display currency_code.

Use the canonical product page for purchase units, box or pack coverage, installation limitations, sample eligibility, and quantity planning.

Estimate shipping and tax

POST /wp-json/cancork/agent/v1/quote accepts:

Send without login, Cart-Token, or WooCommerce session cookies. Requests with a shopper session are rejected to preserve its cart. Quote amounts are decimal major currency units and may be cached for 120 seconds. Review missing-item warnings and available shipping options; an empty list does not promise free shipping.

Prepare the buyer cart

  1. GET /wp-json/wc/store/v1/cart; retain its Cart-Token response header privately.
  2. POST /wp-json/wc/store/v1/cart/add-item with that header and {"id":123,"quantity":2}. Use the selected variation ID when applicable.
  3. Set shipping_address using cart/update-customer, read available shipping rates, and choose one using cart/select-shipping-rate.
  4. Show items, delivery option, tax, and final total. For a cart prepared in the buyer’s browser using its Store API nonce and cookies, direct the buyer to normal checkout to confirm payment.

A Cart-Token cart belongs to its API client. Opening normal checkout in another browser does not transfer that cart. To complete a headless cart, use the buyer-approved Store API checkout with a supported gateway, or separately provisioned agent checkout access. Never put private cart tokens in URLs.

A Store API Nonce for the existing browser shopper session is an alternative to a Cart-Token. WordPress wp_rest nonces and administrative consumer keys are not substitutes.

Agent integrations

The site-specific authenticated agent checkout requires separately provisioned store credentials and an authorized payment arrangement. Contact store support for access. ACP, UCP, MCP, A2A and OAuth protocol integrations are not currently implemented. Their former placeholder discovery URLs return an explicit unavailable response.

Confirm the buyer's approval before placing any order. Do not fetch administrative order data or use another customer's cart.
