White Bamboo Cork Flooring

A crisp white floor with hints of blue and grey, and all the warmth and quiet that porcelain tile can never give you.

White Bamboo is one of the best versions of a true white cork floor in recent years. The bamboo pattern running through the white finish gives it a light, beachy feeling: bright enough to open up a dark little cottage, refined enough to carry a new transitional home.

Each 12 mm (1/2 in) floating plank is built like a sandwich: a 3 mm stained cork wear surface over a 6 mm E1 class high density fibreboard core, with a 3 mm cork underlay already attached underneath. Cork on both sides of the core is what makes this floor feel warm and springy underfoot while keeping footfall noise out of the rooms below.

Planks measure 900 mm x 300 mm (35 7/16 in x 11 13/16 in) and click together with the industry-leading Uniclic profile, so the floor floats over your subfloor with no glue and no nails. It is rated for every level of the home, from the basement to the top floor, and it is made in Portugal with formaldehyde-free adhesives.

Important product note

Because this is a floating floor, a site-applied coat of polyurethane is required after installation. White coloured floors such as White Bamboo have their own coat requirements, and rooms differ (kitchens, entrances and commercial spaces are treated differently than bedrooms), so follow the installation guide below for the coat count that matches your space. This same White Bamboo pattern is also available as a 6 mm glue-down tile if you prefer a glued installation.
