Engineered Hardwood
Engineered wood floors are constructed from layers of hardwood and plywood, whereas solid hardwood is manufactured from a single piece of wood. Hardwood flooring gives a traditional touch to every room. Engineered hardwood is durable and long-lasting. It is constructed of multiple layers of wood, each angled differently. In moist environments, its structure prevents engineered hardwood from warping and bending. In contrast to solid hardwood, its form allows installation in various housing levels, even below ground with a protective moisture barrier. A hardwood veneer provides the same true wood beauty as a real hardwood floor to an engineered floor. Engineered hardwood requires less upkeep.
