Rococo Cork Flooring

Amber cork with black tiger striping: the movement of Italian brown marble in a warm, quiet 12 mm floating floor.

Rococo does not try to look like wood. Its ripple pattern of ambers and browns flows like the famous brown Italian marbles, with black tiger striping that adds flair without piling on extra colour. It starts out life as a medium-depth, amber-coloured floor with an ever-flowing, highly textured depth: hills and valleys, cuts and divots.

Under the pattern is one of the thickest cork floors on the market. Each plank is a full 12 mm (1/2 in): a 3 mm natural cork top layer over a 6 mm E1 class high density fiberboard core, with a 3 mm sound-absorbing cork underlay already attached. There is no separate underlayment to buy, and the Uniclic click-lock profile snaps together without glue, so you can float it over an existing floor with minimal preparation.

All that cork is what you feel every day. Rococo is warm and comfortable underfoot, helping you save on heating and cooling, and its resilient, low-slip surface is kind to seniors, children, and anyone with arthritis or joint pain. Rated for above, on, and below grade, it is versatile enough for kitchens, living areas, and basements, though not bathrooms.

The square-edged planks, made in Portugal from natural cork, install seamlessly so the finished room reads as one continuous surface. As a stained-colour product, Rococo requires a coat of polyurethane after installation to seal the seams and protect the pattern.
