Slimwood Cork Wall Tile

Slimwood is a 12 mm (1/2 in) thick cork wall tile cut from 100% natural cork, the bark of the Cork Oak. Its classic uneven surface is not just a look: the varied relief scatters sound in every direction, breaking up reverb, echo, and reflection instead of bouncing them back at you. That is why this panel is a favourite for music rooms, and it brings the same calm to offices, bedrooms, and media walls.

Each panel measures 800 mm x 240 mm (31 1/2 in x 9 29/64 in), a long plank format that stacks into a rich, textured feature wall. The back of the panel is smooth, so it seats cleanly against a prepared wall or ceiling and installs with less fuss than rough-backed tile.

Because it is cork, the benefits go beyond acoustics. The material naturally insulates, helping keep rooms warmer in winter and cooler in summer, and it is naturally resistant to pests, mould, and mildew. It is bonded with formaldehyde-free adhesives and is hypo-allergenic, making it a healthier alternative to wallpaper for allergy sufferers. Rated for both residential and commercial spaces, it works as hard in a studio or storefront as it does at home.
