Travertine Cork Flooring

The soft mineral look of travertine stone, built on 11 mm of Swiss-made cork comfort.

Travertine gives you the calm, stone-inspired patterning its name promises, printed on a genuine 3 mm cork wear surface rather than cold tile. Underfoot it behaves like cork always does: warm in winter, quiet under traffic, and gently elastic, so long days standing on it are easier on knees and backs.

Each 913 mm x 305 mm (35-15/16 in x 12 in) plank is a true three-layer sandwich: 3 mm of natural cork on top, a 6.8 mm E1 grade moisture-resistant HDF core carrying the Uniclic click-lock profile, and a 1.2 mm agglomerated cork backing that acts as a built-in acoustic underlay. The surface is sealed with a HotCoating wear layer and a highly resistant Natural Shield water-based polyurethane finish.

Made in Switzerland and rated Class 33 for heavy commercial use (with Class 23 domestic coverage), this floor is approved for every level of the home, from the basement rec room to the main-floor kitchen, and it floats over the subfloor with no glue and no nails.

Why this floor

• 18 dB impact sound reduction (EN ISO 717-2), with a 1.2 mm agglomerated cork backing already bonded to every plank.
• Rated Commercial Class 33 and Domestic Class 23 (EN 16511) with AC5 abrasion resistance: heavy-duty performance backed by a 15-year residential and 5-year commercial warranty.
• Uniclic click-lock joints with a locking strength above 500 kg per linear metre on the HDF profile (ISO 24334): a tight, glue-free floating installation.
• Approved above grade, on grade, and below grade, and compatible with hydronic and underfloor radiant heating.
• Moisture-resistant E1 grade HDF core with a 24-hour swelling value under 8% (EN 317).
• Cork's air-filled cell structure insulates naturally: thermal resistance of 0.108 m² K/W means no cold feet, even barefoot in winter.
• A natural, sustainable material: cork oak bark is harvested without felling the tree, and the trees can be peeled up to 20 times over lifespans of up to 200 years.
