Strips Cork Flooring

A wide, long cork plank with a square edge that lays up as one seamless, quiet floor.

Strips is a natural cork floating floor in a generous 915mm x 305mm (36 in x 12 in) plank. The square-edge profile has no bevel, so once the planks click together the joints all but disappear and the room reads as a single continuous surface of natural cork.

Each 11mm (7/16 in) plank is built in three layers: a 3mm genuine cork wear surface on top, a 7mm E1 Class high density fiberboard core for stability, and a 1mm cork underlay already attached underneath. The result is a floor that arrives prefinished, insulated, and ready to walk on the day you install it.

Underfoot, cork does what hard flooring cannot. It is warm, resilient, and gently cushioned, which makes it a favourite for seniors, children, and anyone dealing with arthritis or joint pain. That same cell structure absorbs sound instead of bouncing it around, keeping noise from travelling down through the floor or up through the ceiling.

Installation is a floating click-lock job with the licensed Uniclic system: no glue, no nails, and no separate underlay to buy. Rated for commercial as well as residential use, it can go above grade, on grade, or below grade, so a finished basement is fair game.
