Venetian Cork Flooring

A warm mid-brown cork floor with comfort built in: 10 mm thick, quiet underfoot, and it clicks together without glue.

Venetian sits in that easy middle ground between soft golden undertones and richer chestnut hues. The surface is smooth and consistent, with delicate speckling that reads as one calm, uniform field rather than dramatic veining. Think sun-touched sand or riverbank soil: earthy, understated, and at home in both contemporary and classic rooms.

Under the colour is a proper floating-floor build. A 3 mm layer of genuine cork forms the wear surface, bonded over a 6 mm E1 class high-density fibreboard core, with a 1 mm cork underlay already attached underneath. The planks join with the Uniclic click-lock profile, so the floor assembles plank by plank with no adhesive and no cure time.

Cork's natural cell structure is what you feel every day. It cushions each step, stays warm in winter and cooler in summer, and damps sound instead of amplifying it: footfall stops travelling down through the floor or up through the ceiling. The resilient, low-slip surface is a genuine help for seniors, children, and anyone managing arthritis or joint pain.

It is also an honest choice for healthy homes. The floor is made in Portugal from a natural, renewable material, assembled with formaldehyde-free adhesives, and certified Greenguard Gold for indoor air quality. Cork is naturally anti-microbial, so it resists insects, mould, and mildew, and its hypo-allergenic surface repels dust and hair, making it a practical alternative to carpet.
