Honey Oak Natural Composite Flooring
Warm honey-toned oak looks in Forna Natural Composite, built on a fully waterproof Hydrowood core with a quiet cork backing. Honey Oak pairs a golden, sun-warmed oak visual with the character of natural linseed composite surface. The pattern is applied by direct, lightfast digital printing and sealed under a hardwearing polyurethane wear layer, so the colour you choose is the colour you keep: the lightfastness rating of 7 out of 8 means it stands up to sunny rooms without fading. Each 1235 mm x 200 mm (48 5/8 in x 7 7/8 in) plank is a three-layer sandwich: a 1.5 mm natural linseed composite surface over a 6.8 mm waterproof Hydrowood core, finished with a 1.2 mm agglomerated cork backing. That cork layer is what your feet and ears notice. It softens every step, cuts impact noise by 17 dB, and adds thermal insulation underfoot. The natural composite surface itself is made largely from renewable materials: linseed oil, pine resin, limestone, cork wood flour and jute. Combined with UL Greenguard Gold certification for low emissions, it is a healthy choice for bedrooms, living areas and busy commercial spaces alike. Because the core is waterproof and the planks click together with a Uniclic locking profile, Honey Oak floats over above grade, on grade and below grade subfloors, and it works over electric or hydronic radiant heat. Kitchens, basements, entries and storefronts are all fair game. Why this floor
