FORNA Forna Natural Composite FLOATING FLOORING – WARRANTY CONDITIONS
Forna Warranty Declaration
Forna (Cancork Floor Inc.), as the manufacturer and distributor of Forna Forna Natural Composite Floating Flooring, provides this warranty in addition to all legal consumer rights. This warranty applies to the product’s structure, bonding, and surface coating when used under normal residential or commercial conditions.
This warranty does not cover damages caused by improper installation, misuse, excessive wear, inappropriate environmental conditions, or poor maintenance. Natural variations in color and structure between planks are expected and are not considered defects.
The warranty applies only to first-quality products installed indoors within the recommended usage classes.
Warranty Duration
Forna Forna Natural Composite Floating Flooring is covered for:

15 years in residential areas (Class 23)

5 years in commercial areas (Class 33)
The warranty starts on the original purchase date.
Pro-Rated Coverage (“New for Old” Deduction)
If a claim is approved, the following deductions apply based on age of the floor:

Residential use: 8% reduction per year

Commercial use: 20% reduction per year
Warranty Conditions
To qualify for warranty coverage:

Installation Requirements

Flooring must be installed strictly according to Forna’s installation instructions.

Subfloor moisture testing must be completed as specified.
-
Guidelines for installing over radiant heating systems must be followed.

Flooring must be inspected in daylight for visible defects before installation.

Any planks with visible issues must not be installed.

Care & Maintenance

Cleaning must follow Forna’s care and maintenance guidelines.

Only approved cleaning products may be used.
-
The surface coating is a protective layer; normal wear of the coating is not covered.

When wear becomes noticeable, the surface must be recoated professionally.

Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:-
Damage from misuse, negligence, abnormal traffic, or improper maintenance

Mechanical damage (dents, scratches, gouges)
-
Color fading due to sunlight or UV exposure
-
Water damage, moisture intrusion, flooding, or high humidity
-
Damage related to improper installation or unapproved underlayments
-
Reinstallation, labor cost, removal, disposal, or related expenses

Making a Warranty Claim
To file a claim:

Submit a written claim to Forna / Cancork Floor Inc.

Include the original purchase invoice, which serves as the warranty certificate.

Claims cannot be processed without the original invoice.

Forna will respond within four weeks confirming acceptance or denial.

Forna or an authorized inspector must be allowed access to examine installed flooring.

Requested documentation or samples must be provided within two weeks.
Failure to provide documents or access may void the claim.
Extent of Warranty
If a warranty claim is approved:

Forna will, at its discretion:

Repair the affected planks, or
-
Replace the defective flooring with new flooring from the same product line (if available)

Replacement flooring will be provided free of charge at the original point of sale.
Important Limitations
The warranty does not cover:

Removal of existing flooring
-
Installation or labor charges
-
Disposal costs
-
Any additional or consequential damages
Receiving replacement flooring does not extend the original warranty period.
Warranty claims expire six months after approval and cannot extend beyond the original warranty duration.
