Autumn Ripple Cork Glue-Down Flooring

Autumn Ripple is a mid-tone cork tile with low-key patterning: a soft, rippled grain that adds warmth to a room without shouting for attention. It has been a favourite since it launched, and it was the tile that opened up the luxury 8 mm glue-down category here, a line that has since grown to more than ten colours and patterns.

Most glue-down cork tiles on the market today are thin. Autumn Ripple is not. Each 610 mm x 305 mm (24 in x 12 in) tile is 8 mm of natural Portuguese cork from top to bottom, sealed with a high resistance super-matte wax finish. That extra thickness is what you feel underfoot: a resilient, low-slip surface that is easy on knees, hips, and joints, which makes it a favourite for seniors, children, and anyone dealing with arthritis or joint pain.

Thick cork also works quietly in the background. It keeps impact noise from travelling down through the floor or up through the ceiling, holds heat in the room in winter, and keeps unwanted heat out in summer, which can trim your heating and cooling bills. And unlike carpet, it repels dust, hair, and small particles, so it is a practical choice for allergy-conscious households.

Off-the-shelf 8 mm cork tiles are extremely rare; they normally mean an 8 to 12 week lead time. This colour is kept in stock by the thousands of square feet, with orders aimed at next business day shipment (same day when possible).
