Cherry Line Cork Flooring

An 11 mm Swiss-made cork floating plank with warm cherry tones, an 18 dB impact sound rating, and a heavy duty class 33 commercial wear rating.

Cherry Line brings the warm, reddish character of cherry wood to a real cork floating floor. Each 913 mm x 305 mm (35-15/16 in x 12 in) plank is built in Switzerland from natural cork harvested from the bark of cork oak trees, a tree that can live up to 200 years and be peeled around 20 times without harm.

The plank is a true sandwich construction: a 3 mm natural cork top layer over a 6.8 mm E1 grade moisture resistant HDF core, finished underneath with a 1.2 mm agglomerated cork backing that acts as a built-in acoustic underlay. The surface is protected by a HotCoating wear layer with a high resistance Natural Shield water based polyurethane finish, which is how a soft, comfortable material earns an AC5 abrasion rating.

Underfoot, cork's air-filled cell structure does the work. It keeps the floor close to room temperature all year, so walking barefoot in winter does not mean cold feet, and it stays permanently elastic, absorbing impact and cutting the noise of an active household by 18 dB. The Uniclic click lock profile floats over the subfloor with no glue, and the floor is approved above grade, on grade, and below grade, so basements are fair game.

• Rated class 33 (heavy duty commercial) and class 23 (domestic) to EN 16511, with a 15 year residential and 5 year commercial warranty.
• 18 dB impact sound reduction (EN ISO 717-2) from the 3 mm cork surface plus the 1.2 mm agglomerated cork backing: a floor and acoustic underlay in one plank.
• AC5 abrasion resistance (EN 14354 and EN 13329) thanks to the HotCoating wear layer and Natural Shield water based polyurethane finish.
• Moisture resistant E1 grade HDF core with a Uniclic locking strength above 500 kg per linear metre (ISO 24334), 24 hour swelling below 8%, and dimensional stability under 0.05%.
• Natural thermal insulation: 0.108 m² K/W thermal resistance from cork's gas-filled cell structure, and full compatibility with electric, hydronic, and underfloor radiant heating.
• Glue-free floating installation with a square edge, no bevel profile, approved above, on, and below grade.
• Green Guard Gold certified with published ECO and formaldehyde test documentation, so low emissions are verified, not just claimed.
