An 11 mm Swiss-made cork floating floor that keeps rooms warm underfoot and quiet overhead, rated for heavy commercial traffic yet built for barefoot comfort at home.

Hazel is a Swiss Real Cork floating floor made for warm, comfortable living spaces, delivered in a full-thickness 7/16 inch (11 mm) plank. It sits alongside Leather and Rhythm in the same line, so you can pick the visual that suits your space while keeping the identical construction underneath.

Each 913 mm x 305 mm (35-15/16 in x 12 in) plank is a three-part sandwich: a 3 mm natural cork wear surface on top, a 6.8 mm E1 grade moisture-resistant HDF core in the middle, and a 1.2 mm agglomerated cork backing underneath. The surface is sealed with a HotCoating wear layer and a high-resistance Natural Shield water-based polyurethane finish, which is how a soft natural material earns an AC5 abrasion rating and a class 33 heavy commercial classification.

Underfoot, cork's closed cell structure of air-filled cells does two jobs at once. It insulates thermally (0.108 m² K/W thermal resistance), so the floor never feels cold in winter, and it damps impact noise by 18 dB, which the room below you will appreciate. The material itself is permanently elastic: it cushions every step and recovers, with residual indentation of at most 0.15 mm.

Because the planks click together with a Uniclic locking profile, the floor floats over your subfloor with no glue and no nails. It is approved for above grade, on grade, and below grade installation, so basements are fair game, and it is compatible with hydronic and underfloor radiant heating.
