Linea Dark Cork Flooring

Deep, dark cork with a clean linear character, built in Switzerland to an 11mm commercial grade that stays warm, quiet and beautiful for decades.

Linea Dark brings rich, dark tones to a natural cork floor, a look that grounds a room without the coldness of tile or laminate. The colour comes wrapped in cork's signature texture, so every plank carries subtle variation that reads as genuine material, not a printed pattern.

Each 913mm x 305mm (35-15/16" x 12") plank is a true 11mm (7/16") sandwich: a 3mm natural cork wear surface over a 6.8mm E1 grade moisture-resistant HDF core, finished underneath with a 1.2mm agglomerated cork backing that acts as a built-in acoustic underlay. The surface is sealed with a HotCoating wear layer and a highly resistant Natural Shield water-based polyurethane finish.

Underfoot, cork's air-filled cell structure does the work. The floor holds a comfortable temperature year round, so walking barefoot in winter does not mean cold feet, and its permanent elasticity cushions every step while absorbing impact sound. It is rated Cfl s1 for reaction to fire and shows very good resistance to chemicals, with a production process that is 100% non-toxic.

With approval for above grade, on grade and below grade installation, compatibility with hydronic and underfloor heating, and a Uniclic click-lock profile that floats over the subfloor without glue, Linea Dark fits bedrooms, living areas, basements and light commercial spaces alike.

Why this floor

• 18 dB impact sound reduction (EN ISO 717-2), backed by an integrated 1.2mm agglomerated cork underlay: quieter rooms above and below.
• Rated Commercial Class 33 and Domestic Class 23 (EN 16511) with AC5 abrasion resistance, a heavy-duty rating that handles busy households and light commercial traffic.
• Uniclic click-lock joints with a locking strength above 500 kg per linear metre (ISO 24334): a tight, glue-free floating installation.
• 6.8mm E1 grade moisture-resistant HDF core with 24-hour swelling under 8% (EN 317), approved for below grade rooms such as basements.
• Thermal resistance of 0.108 m² K/W (EN 12524) and hydronic/underfloor heating compatibility: warm underfoot, efficient over radiant heat.
• Naturally fire resistant (Cfl s1, EN ISO 9239-1) thanks to cork's self-extinguishing quality, with an antimicrobial layer that protects against mould and mildew.
• Green Guard Gold certified with a 15-year residential and 5-year commercial warranty.
