Parcork Cork Flooring

Swiss-made 11mm cork planks rated for heavy commercial traffic, with 18 dB of built-in impact sound reduction and a click-lock joint you can float over almost any subfloor.

Parcork is an 11mm (7/16 inch) cork floating floor engineered in Switzerland. Each 913mm x 305mm (35-15/16 inch x 12 inch) plank stacks a 3mm natural cork wear surface over a 6.8mm E1 grade moisture-resistant HDF core, finished underneath with a 1.2mm agglomerated cork backing that acts as a bonded underlay. The result is a plank that feels solid underfoot yet keeps the give and warmth that only cork delivers.

Cork's cellular structure is filled with air-like gas, which is why this floor stays comfortable in every season: cool in summer, warm in winter, and never cold on bare feet. That same structure absorbs impact sound and stays permanently elastic, so footsteps, dropped toys and moving chairs land softly instead of echoing through the house.

The surface carries a HotCoating wear layer sealed with a highly resistant Natural Shield water-based polyurethane finish. That protection earns Parcork an AC5 abrasion rating and a Class 33 commercial usage rating, so the same floor works in a busy shop, an office, or the hardest-working rooms of your home. An antimicrobial layer protects against mould and mildew, and the 100% non-toxic production process makes it a safe choice for the whole family.

Installation is a tool-friendly floating format: Uniclic click-lock planks with a square, unbevelled edge simply lock together over the subfloor. It is approved above grade, on grade and below grade, so basements are fair game, and it is compatible with hydronic and underfloor radiant heating.

Why this floor

• Rated Class 33 commercial and Class 23 domestic (EN 16511) with AC5 abrasion resistance: durability specified for heavy-traffic light commercial spaces, not just living rooms.
• 18 dB impact sound reduction (EN ISO 717-2) from the 3mm cork surface plus the bonded 1.2mm agglomerated cork backing: no separate underlay needed for acoustic comfort.
• True 11mm three-layer construction: 3mm natural cork over a 6.8mm E1 grade moisture-resistant HDF core with a 1.2mm cork underlayment built in.

• Fire classification Cfl s1 (EN ISO 9239-1), backed by cork's natural self-extinguishing behaviour, plus very good chemical resistance (EN 423).
• Made in Switzerland from renewable cork bark: cork oaks live up to 200 years and can be harvested around 20 times without felling the tree.
