Rhythm Cork Flooring
A Swiss-made 11mm floating cork plank rated for heavy commercial use, with 18 dB of impact sound reduction built right into the board. Rhythm brings the warm, organic character of real cork to a full-thickness 913mm x 305mm (35-15/16 inch x 12 inch) floating plank. Its 3mm natural cork top layer sits over a 6.8mm E1 grade moisture resistant HDF core, backed by 1.2mm of agglomerated cork, so every step lands on cork above and below the board. Cork is harvested from the bark of the cork oak, a tree that can live up to 200 years and be peeled as many as 20 times without harm. That cell structure, filled with an air-like gas, is what gives Rhythm its signature feel: a floor that stays at a comfortable temperature year round and never leaves you with cold feet, even barefoot in winter. Underfoot, the surface is permanently elastic. It absorbs impact and sound rather than reflecting it, which makes Rhythm a natural fit for active households, upper-floor rooms, and light commercial spaces where noise carries. The HotCoating wear layer with a high resistant Natural Shield water base polyurethane finish keeps it looking good with little care. Installation is tool-friendly: square-edge planks with a Uniclic click-lock profile float over the subfloor with no glue and no nails, and the floor is approved for above grade, on grade, and below grade rooms, including over hydronic and underfloor heating. Why this floor
