Timber Birch Cork Flooring

Light to medium brown cork in a 12 mm floating plank that quiets your room by 19 dB and installs with a glue-free Uniclic click. Timber Birch shows cork at its most natural: a lively pattern of irregular granules with subtle tonal variation, running from light to medium brown with occasional deeper flecks and shadows that give the surface real visual depth. The effect is rustic and organic, closer to the charm of cork bark than to a printed decor. Each 900 mm x 300 mm (35 7/16 in x 11 13/16 in) plank is a true 12 mm (1/2 in) sandwich: a 3 mm stained cork wear surface over a 6 mm E1 class high density fibreboard core, with a 3 mm cork underlay already attached underneath. The face is sealed at the factory with a high resistance Natural Shield water-based polyurethane, so the planks arrive finished and stain resistant. Underfoot, that double layer of cork is warm, resilient and low slip: an easy surface for seniors, children, or anyone with arthritis or joint pain, and it helps hold heat in the room in winter and keep it out in summer. Rated for above, on, and below grade, it suits living rooms, bedrooms, offices, and finished basements alike, in homes or light commercial spaces.
