White Bamboo Cork Glue-Down Flooring

A crisp, painted-wood white in solid cork: the original white glue-down tile, popular since 2015. White Bamboo was the first white cork tile in this collection, and it has stayed a favourite through years of white flooring, white wall decor, and beach house design. The stained surface gives you the look of freshly painted wood while keeping the warmth and texture that only cork delivers. Each tile is solid cork from top to bottom: a 6 mm (1/4 in) cork wear surface over a cork core and cork backing, sealed with a high resistance super-matte wax finish. The square, straight-cut edges lay up into a clean, continuous surface with no bevels to catch dirt. Underfoot, that solid cork build means a warm, resilient, low-slip surface that is easy on joints, which makes it a comfortable choice for seniors, children, or anyone with arthritis or joint pain. It also works to your advantage on the utility bill: cork keeps unwanted heat energy out in summer and holds warmth in the room through winter. Because this is a glue-down product, installation uses Wakol D3540 cork adhesive, and two site-applied coats of Loba 2K polyurethane are required after the tiles are down. The result is a bonded, sealed floor rated for both residential and light commercial spaces, and the same tile can be glued to walls for a matching white cork accent.
