Slat Perla Acoustic Cork Wall Panels

Sculpted 3D cork slats that quiet a room, warm a wall, and look like custom millwork.

Slat Perla is a 3D acoustic wall panel built entirely around cork. Each panel presents a rhythm of raised natural cork slats, giving walls and ceilings the tailored, linear look of slat panelling without the echo that hard surfaces create.

The construction does the real work. A 10mm (25/64 in) layer of natural cork slats sits over a slim 3mm MDF core, and the whole panel is finished underneath with a 4mm anti-vibration cork layer. That cork-core-cork sandwich is 17mm (43/64 in) thick in total, and it is why these panels both diffuse sound within the room and cut sound passing through the wall, with a Delta IIC rating of up to 42 dB.

Slat Perla is made in Italy from natural cork for residential and commercial interiors. Review the acoustic report and wall or ceiling installation requirements.

Each panel measures 1230mm x 440mm (48 27/64 in x 17 21/64 in) and covers 5.83 sq ft. Cartons hold 6 panels for 34.95 sq ft of coverage.

Why this wall

• Acoustic performance: Delta IIC rating of up to 42 dB reduces sound transmission through walls and ceilings.
• Maximum sound diffusion: the raised 3D slat profile scatters sound within the room instead of bouncing it back as echo.
• Three-layer acoustic build: 10mm natural cork slats over a 3mm MDF core with a 4mm anti-vibration cork backing (17mm total).
• Low-emission core: the MDF layer is compliant with CARB Phase 2 (California Air Resources Board).
• Made in Italy. Review the selected product’s emissions documentation and cleaning requirements.
• Adds thermal insulation to any wall or ceiling it covers.
• Backed by a 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
