Bright Stone Techslate Stone-Look Flooring

The look of pale, sunlit slate in a 100% waterproof Swiss-made plank: 0% swelling after 24 hours under water, AC5 rated, and quiet enough to cut impact sound by 19 dB. Bright Stone brings the cool, luminous tone of light slate to rooms that real stone could never survive in comfort. Each 920 mm x 460 mm (36 ⁷/₃₂ x 18 ⁷/₆₄ inch) plank is finished with direct, lightfast digital printing and a micro-bevelled edge, so the stone pattern stays crisp and the joints read like true tile lines across the floor. Under that surface sits a mineral carrier plate with a highly viscoelastic intermediate layer, a KORUS wear coating on top, and a GREEN Sound impact underlay bonded underneath. The result feels solid and stone-like underfoot, yet warmer and quieter than ceramic or natural slate, and it never needs sealing. Because the core is mineral, water simply does not bother it. Tested to EN 317, the plank shows 0% thickness swelling after a full day of immersion, which makes Bright Stone a genuine answer for basements, washrooms, entryways and commercial kitchens where leaks and wet boots are a fact of life. It is approved for below grade, on grade and above grade installation. Installation uses the Uniclic click-lock profile as a floating floor: four planks per carton covering 1.69 m² (18.22 sq ft), clicking together with a joint strength above 500 kg per linear metre. Rated Commercial class 33 and Domestic class 23, it carries a 15 year residential and 5 year commercial warranty.
