Overview
When you are looking for a floor that can handle the wear and tear look to our newest flooring line, Forna Cork Flooring’s 11mm (7/16inch) Design Cork floating floors. Made to be stronger, toucher and still look like traditional hardwood flooring, Design Cork floating floors are the answer to durable and functional all in one. Like our Fusion Cork floating floors, Design Cork is a hybrid floor composed of a tough, Swedish engineered laminate surface fused to a cork backing. Design Cork floors are an excellent accompaniment to high-traffic areas. Because of its tougher surface it is ideal for entrance ways and hallways, but still are comfortable enough for kitchens. Basements will jump for joy as you’ll not only install a durable floor but also one that will help to keep it warm.

With Hamilton cork planks we’ve worked hard to reproduce the natural beauty of hardwood boards and added depth with a slightly rough texture for a simple 3D look and feel. It’s a laminate photo finish but feels real. Infused with a blend of complimenting cool tones; layers of contrasting grays, light beige and softer creams, Hamilton brings to mind the soothing palette of a gently aged wooden floor. This gorgeous pattern will accentuate your space with its charm while maintaining modern day innovation.
The surface wear layer of our Hamilton cork planks are made from PVC and phthalates free polypropylene. Toxins often found in common polymers are absent in our embossed veneer. We use the same polypropylene product used to create children’s toys that are eco-friendly to produce, biodegradable and still environmentally sustainable.
Advantages of this product are:

THERMAL ISOLATION
DURABLEThe Hot-Coating surface protection makes the cork flooring durable and hard-wearing – in this way, even class 33 in the commercial sector and class 23 in the domestic sector is achieved. Thanks to this resistant coating, the cork floor retains its beauty for many years.
IMPACT SOUND REDUCTION AND PERMANENTLY ELASTICEqually noteworthy are the impact and sound-absorbing properties of cork (impact sound reduction of 18dB) – also thanks to the honeycomb cell structure. Cork floors are permanently elastic: the natural flexibility gives a particularly pleasant feeling when walking and is also gentle to the ankles.
