Overview

Light Grey Oak Cork Flooring

The pale, airy look of grey oak with the quiet, cushioned feel that only cork delivers: 14 dB of impact noise gone the day you click it together. Light Grey Oak is a design cork floating floor. A printed oak design film with a semi-matte, wood-embossed texture sits over a 3mm layer of natural cork, so you get the cool Scandinavian grey-oak look without giving up warmth underfoot. The colour is a soft, versatile grey that brightens basements and calms busy living areas alike. Each 1200mm x 210mm (47 1/4 in x 8 1/4 in) plank is built in five working layers: the embossed top coating, the printed design film, 3mm of cork, a 6mm E1 grade moisture-resistant HDF core, and a 1.5mm agglomerated cork underlay already attached to the back. That means 4.5mm of cork in every plank, which is why the floor feels warm, absorbs footfall, and stays comfortable to stand on. Installation is a floating click-together job using the licensed Uniclic locking system: no glue, no nails, no attached-underlay to buy separately. The floor is rated for on, above and below grade, so it is as much at home in a finished basement as it is in a main-floor kitchen. Made in Portugal, PVC free, and produced with a solvent-free process.
