Light Slate pairs a pale, stone-inspired colourway with a wood-embossed, semi-matte surface, so you get the calm, contemporary look of light slate without the cold, hard feel of actual stone. The tone stays natural and understated, which makes it an easy match for both modern and transitional rooms.

Each 620 mm x 450 mm (24-23/32" x 17-46/64") plank is a full 11 mm (7/16") thick: a 3 mm cork wear layer over a 6.8 mm E1 grade moisture resistant HDF core, finished underneath with 1.2 mm of agglomerated cork that acts as a built-in underlay. The HotCoating wear surface with its high resistant Natural Shield water based polyurethane finish protects that structure through years of daily traffic.

Underfoot, this is where cork earns its reputation. Roughly 40 million air-filled cells per cubic centimetre give the floor natural thermal insulation and permanent elasticity: barefoot in winter no longer means cold feet, and every step feels cushioned and gentle on the ankles. The same honeycomb cell structure knocks 18 dB off impact sound.

Installation is a floating click-lock job with the patented Uniclic system, and the joints are watertight. Rated for on, above and below grade, Light Slate is as much at home in a finished basement as it is in a busy kitchen or a light commercial space.
