Tasmanian Burl Cork Glue-Down Flooring

Warm autumn browns cut with dramatic black tiger stripes: a 6 mm solid cork tile with the character of exotic teak.

Tasmanian Burl takes its name from the burl of the Tasmanian Oak tree, and the pattern lives up to it. Warm mid-tone browns dominate, streaked with bold black tiger striping and lifted by gold and rust flecks. The result is a vibrant mix of mid-tones, highlights, and low lights that many customers describe simply as teak colouring.

Each tile is 6 mm (1/4 in) of natural cork through and through: cork top layer, cork core, cork backing. The square-edge, straight-cut 610 mm x 305 mm (24 in x 12 in) format glues down flat and tight, giving you a low, seamless floor with no bevels to collect dirt.

Because these are water-resistant glue-down tiles, they are among the best options for bathroom flooring. They are also warm and quiet underfoot: cork keeps heat in the room in winter, keeps unwanted heat out in summer, and cuts the noise that would otherwise travel through the floor or ceiling.
