Wild Oak Cork Flooring

Weathered grey oak looks on top, 4.5mm of natural cork underneath: a floating plank that sounds and feels nothing like laminate. Wild Oak pairs a cool grey, wood-embossed surface with a semi-matte sheen, so it reads as timeworn oak rather than a printed pattern. The digital design print layer sits under an embossed top coating, giving the plank real texture you can feel underfoot, with low UV fading to keep the colour stable in bright rooms. The construction is where cork earns its keep. Each 1200mm x 210mm (47 1/4 x 8 1/4 inch) plank stacks a 3mm cork layer with design film over a 6mm E1 grade moisture-resistant high-density fiberboard core, finished with a 1.5mm agglomerated cork underlay already attached. That double dose of cork is what delivers the 14 dB impact noise reduction and the warm, slightly cushioned feel this material is known for. At 10.5mm (13/32 inch) thick with a licensed Uniclic click lock profile, the planks float over the subfloor with no glue and no nails, and they are rated for on, above and below grade. Rated domestic class 23 and commercial class 33, Wild Oak is at home anywhere from a basement family room to a light commercial space.
