Bleached Birch 8mm cork tiles are a creamy tan off-white cork in the ribbon pattern made famous by “Silver Birch”. The colour reads more of a white-washed plank rather than a gray or white. A dirty white would be an appropriate statement. This is an exact duplicate of the 12mm Bleached Birch floating floor – just in the 8mm glue down format. This is an excellent floor for wet areas where comfort is required – bathrooms, kitchens, entranceways or laundry rooms.

Put in a master bath, the instructions said “a glue down cork tile floor always requires site finishing”. We applied two coats of poly. The instructions said “Let cure 5 days”, but it dried out very fast. We can walk on the cork after 8 hours without shoes. We love it.
