Golden Beach is cork the way people first fell in love with it: a warm, golden agglomerated grain that has stayed in style through the ages. Each 610 mm x 305 mm (24 in x 12 in) glue-down tile is made of dense natural cork from Portugal, finished in a high resistance super-matte wax that keeps the look natural rather than glossy.
What sets this tile apart is what is underneath. The pattern is "massive": the same dense cork grain runs from the top of the tile to the bottom, with no veneer layer to protect. That means Golden Beach can survive a full sand and refinish, something very few cork tiles on the market can claim. Few floors will ever need it, but with this tile it is always an option.
Day to day, it behaves like cork at its best: warm and comfortable underfoot, quiet, resilient, and low slip, which makes it a friendly surface for seniors, children, and anyone with joint pain or arthritis. Rated for residential and light commercial spaces, it glues down on floors, walls, and even ceilings.

Put this in a master bathroom. Installation was easy. I have plywood subfloor. I didn’t have any problems as I was careful not to use too much adhesive, just a VERY light coat on back of cork tile and the ground. The floor is now so warm, that it actually helps make the whole room warm.
