Jet Black Cork Glue-Down Flooring

The blackest black we have ever produced in cork: no blue, no green, no brown, just true black that refuses to fade.

For years, customers asked for a basic black cork floor. Jet Black is the answer: a true, saturated black with no undertones. It does not read blue, green, or brown under any light. It is simply black, finished in a high resistance super-matte wax that keeps the surface deep and even rather than glossy.

The depth of the stain is what makes this floor unusual. Heavily pigmented all the way through the wear surface, Jet Black is about as close to fade resistant as natural cork gets. Tiles left outdoors through more than four months of summer sun showed no visible colour change: the stain is so complete that even if the cork beneath shifts tone, the surface stays fixed.

Each tile is 8 mm (5/16 in) of solid cork, top to bottom, in a 610 mm x 305 mm (24 in x 12 in) format with square, straight-cut edges and no bevel. Glued down, the tiles form a quiet, seamless field of black that suits modern kitchens, offices, and light commercial spaces alike.

Underfoot, it behaves like cork should: warm in winter, cool in summer, resilient and low slip. That gentle give makes it a comfortable choice for seniors, children, and anyone with arthritis or joint pain, while the surface shrugs off scuffs, stains, and impacts in daily use.
