Nordic Oak from the Forna Natural Composite collection combines a natural linseed composite surface, waterproof Hydrowood core, and cork backing in a 9.5mm (3/8 in) click plank rated Class 23 residential and Class 33 commercial.
Nordic Oak Natural Composite Flooring
Forna Natural Composite in a cool, pale oak tone, bonded to a fully waterproof Hydrowood core with a cork backing: a class 33 floating floor you simply click together. Nordic Oak brings the calm, light Scandinavian look its name promises, rendered in natural linseed composite surface rather than vinyl. The 1.5 mm natural linseed composite surface is made largely from renewable materials: linseed oil, pine resin, limestone, cork wood flour, and jute. A hardwearing polyurethane wear layer with a water-based Natural Shield finish keeps that surface presentable through daily use. Under the surface sits a 6.8 mm Hydrowood core that is fully waterproof, with a swelling value under 1 percent after 24 hours in water. A 1.2 mm agglomerated cork backing finishes the sandwich, cutting impact noise by 17 dB and adding a touch of warmth and give underfoot that hard-core click floors rarely offer. Each 1235 mm x 200 mm (48 5/8 in x 7 7/8 in) plank is 9.5 mm (3/8 in) thick with a square edge and no bevel, so the finished floor reads as a clean, continuous surface. The Uniclic click-lock profile floats over your subfloor with no glue, and the floor is rated for commercial class 33 traffic, so it is comfortable in busy hallways, kitchens, and storefronts alike. It also pairs with electric or hydronic underfloor heating and carries UL GREENGUARD Gold certification for low emissions. Why this floor
