The perennial favourite cork ribbon pattern, now in a luxury 8 mm (5/16 in) glue-down tile for floors, walls and ceilings. Silver Birch is the pattern customers come back to again and again. Its flowing natural cork ribbon grain gives every 610 mm x 305 mm (24 in x 12 in) tile its own character, so the finished floor reads as one continuous, organic surface rather than a repeating print. This is solid natural cork through the full 8 mm thickness: cork top layer, cork core and cork backing, produced in Portugal. Where most glue-down cork tiles stop at 4 mm, this luxury tile carries twice the material, and it shows in how the floor feels and performs. A high resistance super-matte wax finish keeps the surface understated while resisting scuffs and stains. Underfoot, that extra cork translates into warmth and give. The resilient, low-slip surface is easy on joints, which makes it a favourite for seniors, children and anyone dealing with arthritis or joint pain. Important product note

Because this is a glue-down product, two layers of polyurethane are required after the installation is complete. When comparing options, note that most glue-down cork tiles on the market are 4 mm thick, while this luxury version is a full 8 mm, so compare thickness as well as price per square foot.
