Gray flooring remains a hot commodity, and Gray Bamboo earns its place in the fashion line-up. It is soft enough to work with lighter interiors yet strong enough to hold its own in a room. Up close, the stained cork reads as a soft taupe with lilac undertones and fine veins of blue running through the grain.

Cork floors shift slightly in direct sunlight, but with Gray Bamboo the change is subtle: the depth of colour is not affected, only the soft pink and lilac undertones fade, so the floor gradually settles into a true gray tone as it ages. That stability in sunlight is what makes the gray-toned cork floors so popular.

Each 12 mm (1/2 in) floating plank is built as a sandwich: a 3 mm cork wear surface over a 6 mm E1 class high density fibreboard core, with a 3 mm cork underlay already attached underneath. The result is a floor that is warm and resilient underfoot, keeps footfall noise from travelling through the ceiling below, and clicks together with the Uniclic profile, no glue and no separate underlay required.

Important product note

Gray Bamboo is a floating floor, so a fresh application of polyurethane over the installed floor is required after installation to seal the click joints.
